FINE ON MEN SITTING IN FAMILY TAXIS
The minister of transport has changed the rules regarding taxi service and has banned single men from sitting in specific taxis for the family. The taxis that are run by women and they are reserved for families or women alone cannot be mounted by men alone. The violation will result in a fine of 1000 rials.
To be clear, the ministry of transport had previously set rules for taxi drivers that it was mandatory to follow. The regulations are designed to follow drivers to take special care of their appearance and to behave better with passengers. Provide handicapped support to people with disabilities to get in and out of their vehicle. The rules for taxi drivers were further clarified that “do not carry any luggage without passengers, taxi companies are also obliged to provide introductory cards to their drivers on whom the violating companies will be fined up to 1000 rials.
