How to Renew the Vehicle Registration

Istimra Renewal or Vehicle Registration

Vehicle/Istamara renewal registration is done every three years in KSA. with Effect on 2019, there is no need to get the new registration card from Morror (Police) office as the registration card is not having any end date mentioned on it.Istimara can be renewed only 180 days before expiry.

These are the following steps that are required in order to make a renewal.

1. Valid Fahas ( Vehicle periodic inspection ) Fahas is required for every 5-year-old car.
2. Pay the required fee. ( Steps included below)
3. Valid Insurance for Car
4. Pay Traffic Violation fines ( If Pending)

Istimara Fees & Renewal through Absher are explained as below.

Pay Istimara fee according to your vehicle mentioned below. Normally for Private Vehicle fee is 300 SAR.

You can pay from online Banking through MOI services. Enter your Owner ID which is written on your Exiting Istimara card (Vehicle Registration,رخصه سیر  ) and Vehicle Sequence number.

Once you pay the fee online then you can open your mobile & Desktop application of Absher and click on Vehicle information and then select your vehicle and click on the bottom button Renew Vehicle Registration.

Once your registration will be completed you will see the Successfully renewed message.
