Minister for Hajj and Umrah Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rubayeh has said that this year smart Hajj card will be implemented for the convenience of Hajj pilgrims.
Under the digital Umrah services, the Umrah visa will be issued directly within 24 hours without the intervention of any agent. The duration of the Umrah visa can also be extended.
According to Al-Arabiya Net, Minister of Hajj Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rubayeh while addressing a press conference added that the goal of Vision 2030 is to provide better facilities to a large number of Umrah pilgrims. Umrah pilgrims from abroad will be able to obtain visas and other services under the digital Umrah program without the direct intervention of an agent.
Referring to the Hajj season, Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rubayeh further said that all preparations have been completed for the reception of one million pilgrims this year. Ideal programs have been set up for the health of the pilgrims.
Meanwhile, according to newspaper 24, Dr. Tawfiq al-Rubayeh, while explaining the Hajj smart card, added that the proposed smart card will greatly facilitate the people to reach their destinations in the holy city of Mina, Arafat, and Muzdalifah. Regarding the service of pilgrims, the ‘Nask’ program is being implemented, the main purpose of which is to increase the facilities provided to Zaifur Rehman.
Addressing the race conference, the Minister of Hajj, referring to digital Umrah services, further said that Umrah pilgrims coming from abroad will be able to choose all matters directly, including booking of hotels in Makkah Mukarramah as well as transport services. ۔
Regarding the facilities provided for the duration of the Umrah visa, the Minister of Hajj and Umrah further said that the duration of Umrah visa can be extended up to three months. Those coming on Umrah visas will be allowed to go to any city in the country.
