About the Role
The Substation Automation Engineer (SAS Engineer) will play a key role in the testing, commissioning, and configuration of electrical automation systems used in critical power infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have proven experience in GE DS Agile systems (V5/V6/V7) and a strong understanding of EHV/HV/MV substation environments.
Key Responsibilities
Perform on-site testing and commissioning of substation automation systems.
Configure and implement GE DS Agile, including Server, Client, and Gateway applications.
Test communication protocols such as IEC61850, Modbus, and IEC101/104.
Troubleshoot network and hardware-related issues in real-time.
Ensure timely documentation and prepare weekly and monthly progress reports.
Support system integration and maintain compliance with project specifications.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
Minimum 3 years of experience in SAS testing and commissioning.
Proficiency in GE DS Agile or Copadata-Zenon software.
Experience with GE D400/G500 applications preferred.
Excellent communication and reporting skills.
Fluency in English (mandatory).
