Saudi institutions and departments have issued several laws, resolutions and regulations during 2019, which will be implemented from Wednesday, January 1, 2020.
According to Al-Vatan and newspaper 24, several important decisions are being taken from January 1. The Saudi

cabinet said in its Decision in July 2019 that the trade centers could open 24 hours.
The trade centers that meet the stipulated conditions will be opened 24 hours. The Minister will set a fee for opening 24 hours of municipal and rural affairs trade centres.

The saudi cabinet’s decision to waive the fee on industrial workers will be announced by the Saudi government on January 1, 2020, on foreign workers working in industrial institutions. This decision will apply to the workers of industrial bodies whose licenses will be issued by the Industry and Minerals Ministers. This facility will be available for up to 5 years.

According to the Saudi health insurance council’s decision, nonforeigner will be required to display a health insurance card to get treatment from any hospital or health centers from January 1 2020.
Health insurance will be provided by showing the iqama card. The same code will apply to the Saudis.
They will be able to get health insurance on a national ID card basis without showing them the health insurance card.

4.The new implementation of Zakat was made clear by the Department of Revenue that the new implementation of The Zakat will not apply to foreign investors. This will apply only to Saudis and Gulf nationals in the kingdom. 1st January 2020. The income tax will be collected from foreign investors.
5.Night duty Timing: minister of Labor and Social Welfare Ahmed Al-Rajhi had decided that night duty would be counted from 11 am to 6 pm.
The night duty will be given to the employee who is on night duty. The duty-givers will also have duties. It will also be implemented from January 1, 2020.
6.Health Minister Dr. Tofiq Al-Rabia announced that the use of specific food oil meditated oil would be banned from January 1, 2020. The Saudi FDA has asked manufacturers to import food and drink and ban them. Implementation will take effect from the beginning of the new year.
Birds & Animals import on specific Airports
7. The conditions for bird import will be set by the Ministry of Environment and Water and Agriculture, as set out by the Saudi citizens and companies from January 1, 2020, only to import live birds through 3 airports. These include the birds and chickens. Chickens and birds will be brought from the King Fahd Airport in Damam, The Amir Naif International Airport in Al Qassim and The Amir Muhammad bin Abdul Aziz International Airport in Medina Manora.
8. The Saudization
of taxi service will be Saudi from 1st January 2020.
The Public Transport Authority, in a unanimous agreement with the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare, announced that foreigners working in the ‘Al-Ajr’-ul-Khas'(taxi service) should be given a discount by the end of 2019.
All drivers will be Saudi Nationals
9.The Profession of Lab Express was decided by the Saudi HealthSpecialization Board that from January 1, 2020, the profession of lab express will be assigned to the Saudis. No foreigner will be allowed to work in this profession.
